League Player's Game Day Guide

​

INITIAL RANKING
Your starting position in the league is based on your DUPR rating. If you don’t yet have a DUPR rating, your self-rating in your profile will be used. 

Each game day, players are reseeded based on their current DUPR rating, which means your placement can shift from week to week.

 

OPTING IN (USE YOUR PHONE)
Before each week’s games, you’ll need to opt in if you plan to play.

• Log into PickleballLeagues.com and click on “My Schedule.”
  You’ll see all upcoming game days, your current status, and opt-in deadlines.

• When opt-in opens, click the red button labeled “OUT – Click to Opt In.”
  Once selected, it will turn green to confirm you’re in.

• You can opt in up to 15 minutes before game time.

If you choose to opt in, your spot is reserved for that day. If your plans change, please opt out as soon as possible so the schedule stays balanced for everyone.

 

GAME DAY
All matches take place at the courts at Railroad Park.

Arrive a little early to warm up and get settled on your assigned court.
Bring your phone, as players will enter scores during play. One player from each group must enter the scores and save the scores.

To enter scores:

• Log into PickleballLeagues.com

• Go to “My Schedule”

• Select your league and click “Game Day”

• Open the “Matches” tab

• Enter Scores

• Save Scores

Game formats:

• 4-player groups: play to 20

• 5-player groups: play to 15

• 6-player groups: play to 10
   

Court assignments are based on your group and will appear shortly before play begins. Your league admin will also guide players to the correct courts.

 

MISSED GAMES AND SUBSTITUTES
This is a flexible, season-long league. If you need to miss a week, simply do not opt in. Your standing is not affected.

Substitutes are not permitted, except in the case of injury or an unexpected situation during game play.

 

RAIN OUTS
Weather may occasionally impact game days. If conditions look questionable, updates will be noted on the website CALENDAR.

If a game day is canceled (either before play begins or after partial play), it will not be rescheduled.
