About the event

July 6 SAT  9am-1pm  Bell City Challenge

On Saturday July 6, 2024 at 9am Hillsboro Ohio Pickleball Association will host The Bell City Challenge at Railroad Park.

  • The Bell City Challenge is co-ed and will be run in a round robin format. Intermediate and advanced sessions. You DO NOT NEED A PARTNER TO SIGN UP!
  • This is a NO COST event. Just register and play!
  • Registration is limited. 40 Spots available.
  • Games begin at 9am. Please arrive by 8:30 am. Courts open at 7:30am.
  • RSVP by July 5, 2024
  • To be eligible to play, please fill out your Player Information Form and RSVP to The Bell City Challenge.

HOW DO I WIN?? 

  1. You will be assigned a number. You will play 6 games. Each game with a different partner.
  2. After each game, the number of points your team scored is recorded for BOTH you AND your partner, from that game.
  3. At the end of all six games, your individual points are tallied.
  4. The SEMI FINALISTS are the TOP 4 persons with the highest overall points.
  5. The SEMI FINALISTS will play 3 CHALLENGE GAMES. The winner is the person with the highest individual points from these games.

7/3/24 Hey @everyone! Just a quick update on parking and weather, and how it may affect our pickleball fun, for the next few days!

Please plan accordingly for parking changes and potential weather interruptions over the next few days to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience at the Festival of The Bells.

Parking and Weather Information for the Festival of The Bells

Parking:

  • July 4: Normal parking available. Overflow parking at city lot on Beech Street.
  • July 5: Parking closed after 12pm until the end of the pickleball and basketball tournaments on July 6. No parking at the courts. Please use the Beech Street lot and walk to the courts during this period.
  • July 6: No parking at the courts until barricades are removed. Please use the Beech Street lot and walk to the courts.

Inclement Weather:

The forecast predicts rain on July 4 and July 5, but Saturday looks clear. In case of intermittent rain, efforts will be made to continue play. However, continuous rain will prevent play. Pickleball cannot be played on wet courts.
